If you’re in his area and looking for quality HVAC repair in Murfreesboro, TN his company gives top quality service at a fair price. N0w, on to Ted and some Hurriances hockey news!
We’ve blasted the Blackhawks and CAM IS BACK! Greetings and salutations my fellow fanatics: let’s get right into the most recent news all about our favorite hockey team, the Carolina Hurricanes.
How about that Blackhawk battle? Riley Nash and the Carolina Hurricanes were looking to hand to the Chicago Blackhawks the third loss that they had in the past four games. Early in the first period Elias Lindholm put the puck on the net despite heavy defense by the Blackhawk goalie’s initial stop. Luckily, Jeff Skinner was right there with an epic rebound, his 18th of the season. The Hurricanes maximized their early lead immediately. Soon after Jacob Slaven was firing at the net with cruel precision and the puck flew true with help from who else? Riley Nash deflected the puck right into the net with ease. The score was two to nothing in favor of the ‘Canes.
Later in the first the Blackhawks turned over the puck and a perfect pass between two defenders later it was a three to zilch game and looking pretty awful for the Blackhawks. Chicago defenders were definitely failing to get back in time to have any effect on the blistering force of the Hurricanes offense. Lyles was again set up for the goal and sent this game into the four to zero category. Soon after the beginning of the second half the Blackhawks again failed in defensive support to their goalie and it was a big fat five to nothing in favor of our Carolina Hurricanes. Can you ask for a better match than a five to zilch shut out? Not in Hurricane country ladies and gentleman; another win for our favorites and a perfect performance from Nash.
On to even better news if you’re like me and hate to see a great player out due to an injury. Cam Ward has left the injured reserve and been reactivated the impressive goalie. Ron Francis, our beloved general manager, told everyone in a press conference last night (which was Tuesday) right after the Blackhawks got blown away. Like a cherry on top of our win sundae, we had our boy Cam back.
If you recall Ward was placed on the injured reserve list due to a concussion. The Eastern Conference win was not tarnished by his absence though as the ‘Canes went 3-1 to get their 10th place spot. Cam Ward is a powerhouse and glad to have him back as he is in the 90% when it comes to stopping all shots that he has faced. Big thanks to Eddie Lack for filling in for Cam Ward while he was out. Eddie is no slacker either and will love to see what the future holds for him, too.
Thanks for reading and as always LET’S GO CANES!
